For the 2012 season DMT's RADIAL shoe has been updated with some impressive new technology and has become the all new RADIAL 2.0
The Radial features a lightweight resistant upper constructed of microfiber with a mesh lining that is slip-lasted
Slip-lasted construction yields a lightweight shoe without requiring a midsole board and allows the upper to wrap around your foot providing a sock-like fit without irritating seams
The microfiber upper is extremely breathable and the re-designed mesh panels across the outside of the foot provide increased ventilation and perspiration management
A soft padded collar at the heel with additional clearance for the ankle offers freedom of movement without putting pressure on the sides of the foot
The anatomically designed padded external heel counter holds your foot securely preventing slipping of the heel in the shoe
A lightly padded tongue with additional padding around the edge ensures comfort
The closure is a three Velcro strap system secured with stainless steel d-rings
The RADIAL is available with the newly redesigned DMT CX Carbon sole, which now features a replaceable heel strike pad or the Speedplay approved sole
Both soles feature a calibrated grid to make cleat adjustment quick and easy as well as a textured surface at the cleat interface to reduce the chance of the cleat slipping and negates the need for using sandpaper or other inserts for this purpose
The RADIAL 2.0 will also come equipped with the all new heat moldable ASL insoles, providing the rider with customized arch support
