Super Record 2011 offers the rider two brake caliper options. Differential or Dual Pivot.
The differential brake caliper has been the Campagnolo standard for years, it has a more powerful dual pivot front caliper and a less powerful single pivot rear. The single pivot rear not only saves weight but also prevents the rear wheel from locking up us quickly under heavy braking.
The dual caliper pair offers more powerful braking on the rear caliper with dual pivot calipers front and back.
Which one is right for you? Consider the differential pair if you have ever locked your rear wheel in a race or descending in the rain, consider the dual if your grip is perhaps not as strong or you are a larger rider racing aggressive criterium's and need every ounce of stopping power available. If you are a weight weenie you know what to do...
- New lightened aluminum brake shoe
- New pad attachment system for easier maintenance
- New pad compound performs better in all weather
- Special 2011 bicolor graphics
- 297 grams Dual and 272 Differential
